These terms and conditions (together with the documents and additional terms referred to in it) (the “Terms”) tell you the rules for your using when you attend any of our events, whether in person or online (“Event” or “Events”).
By attending an Event, you confirm that you accept these Terms and that you agree to comply with these. If you do not agree to our Terms, you must not attend an Event. We recommend that unless you are reading these Terms on a printed document, you print a copy of these Terms for future reference as they govern the terms on which you attend our Events. These Terms refer to the following additional terms, which also apply to your attendance at our Events:

2. Permission to use image and video recordings
You grant us exclusive permission to use, edit, modify and post any photographs, videos and/or audio recordings (“Content”) from our Events on our social media pages in the United Kingdom (but noting that the Content will be posted on our various social media pages that can be viewed globally) for the purpose of promoting our Events (“Purpose”).
You agree to us storing the Content for as long as necessary to fulfil the Purpose and storing your contact details on our database in case we need to contact you.
You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us at support@peerkat.com. This will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before you withdraw your consent.
For data protection purposes we are the controller of (and responsible for) the personal data comprising the Content.
We will: ensure that we comply with the requirements of all legislation and regulatory requirements in force from time to time relating to the use of the Consent; and process the Consent in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
3. Do not rely on information provided at the Events
Any information provided or discussed at an Event is provided for general information only. It is not intended to amount to advice on which you should rely. You must obtain professional or specialist advice before taking, or refraining from, any action on the basis of the content or information provided or discussed at an Event.
We make no representations, warranties or guarantees, whether express or implied, that the content or information provided or discussed at an Event is accurate, complete or up to date.
We will have no liability to you or any third party for any claim, loss or damage that may arise as a result of any such transactions that you may enter into on the basis of content or information provided or discussed at an Event.
4. Right to charge fees in the future
Our Events are currently made available for you to attend free of charge.
We reserve the right to introduce attendance fees or charges for any of our Events in the future. You will be provided with written notice in advance of your attendance to our Events if we chose to introduce attendances fees or charges.
5. Event Cancellation
We reserve the right to cancel any Event for any reason (including in connection with a force majeure event (as further detailed in paragraph 8)).
In the event of cancellation of an Event, we will endeavour to notify you as soon as possible.
You agree that we will not be in breach of any of our obligations to you by virtue of that cancellation.
6. Conduct and content standards
You agree that your conduct and any content that you share at an Event complies with our content and conduct standards as set out in our Website Terms of Use and to comply with these standards in spirit as well as to the letter.
7. Our responsibility for loss or damage suffered by you
We do not exclude or limit in any way our liability to you where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or the negligence of our employees, agents or subcontractors and for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
We have no liability to you for any: loss of profits, sales, business or revenue; business interruption; loss of anticipated savings; loss of business opportunity, goodwill, or reputation; or any indirect or consequential loss or damage.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied conditions, warranties, representations or other terms that may apply in relation to attendance of an Event or any content or information provided or discussed at an Event.
We will not be liable to you for any loss or damage, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, even if foreseeable, arising under or in connection with: attendance of an Event; or use of or reliance on any content or information provided or discussed at an Event.
8. Force majeure
We shall not be in breach of these Terms or otherwise liable for any failure or delay in the performance of its obligations if such delay or failure results from events, circumstances or causes beyond our reasonable control. The time for performance of such obligations shall be extended accordingly.
9. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and any difference or dispute or claim (including non-contractual differences or disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with them or their performance, subject matter or formation shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
You and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any difference or dispute or claim (including non-contractual differences or disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with these Terms or their performance, subject matter or formation.
10. Changes to these Terms
We amend these Terms from time to time. Every time you wish to attend an Event, please check these Terms to ensure you understand the terms that apply at that time.
11. Our rights and obligations
We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another organisation. We aim to inform you in writing if this happens.
